Sponsorship Officer Position
Antenna is Australia’s first international documentary film festival. The annually occurring festival is taking place at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney between 6-9 October 2011.
Antenna is looking for an experienced Sponsorship Officer to join its team.
The Sponsorship Officer will work directly with the festival director and executive director to develop and implement sponsorship and fundraising opportunities.
Specific responsibilities of this position includes: Seek new sponsorship and fundraising opportunities for the festival formulate sponsorship proposals liaise with sponsor and ensure sponsorship requirements are met
Skills required: The Sponsorship Officer will be professional, enthusiastic, and passionate. It is essential that you have either experience in a similar role or skills and interests that are easily transferable to the role such as- excellent written and verbal communication skills- confidence in negotiating with, and ‘pitching’ festival to, potential sponsors- good computer skills - commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
The successful candidate will receive a negotiated proportion/pro rata of secured funds.
