The Short Film festival will screen 108 films officially in competition, of which 11 will be world premieres and 46 will be Australian premieres.

Flickerfest 2010 Crew Call

Get film experience & a professional film credit working on a professional production with an award-winning crew .

Flickerfest, Australia’s largest and only Academy and BAFTA Accredited short film festival is currently producing the 2011 festival trailer and require volunteer crew to supplement and assist the professional crew for a one day studio shoot.

The trailer will be screened nationally on television as well as cinemas around the country and online.

The roles to be filled are:

- 1 x runner
- 1 x production assistant
- 2 x costume assistant 
- 1 x unit assistant
- 1 x extras coordinator

The runner must have their own car and will receive petrol costs. All crew must be available Wed 3rd November for the shoot. Other crew will be required several days during pre production.

Festival Coordinator Wanted - Flickerfest

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to play a pivotal role in helping grow and develop an internationally acclaimed and Academy@ Accredited short film festival as we celebrate our 20th birthday. The festival will take place from the 7th til the 16th of January 2011. There is enormous scope in this position for career experience and professional development. The job will be assisting the director and festival manager with all aspects of co-ordinating and running a 10-day festival and 29-venue national tour. The co-ordinator also assists with our successful distribution catalogue of short films for sale in Australia and around the world. This is a full-time, contract for 6 months with an option to extend after this time.
